Legends from local rivals Dereham Town and Fakenham Town will be competing to win the prestigious Cozens Cup at the special Terry Allcock Celebration Game at Aldiss Park, home of Dereham Town FC on Sunday 27 October – 10:30 kick off.
The game has an added edge as the club rivalry that goes back decades and is being repeated this year as both play in the same league.
Before his career ended Terry went on to play 389 games for Norwich. His 127 goals for the club place him second on City’s all-time goalscoring list.
After he finished in the professional game Terry was a much-loved figure in local football, as manager of Dereham Town and Norfolk County FA’s youth teams. It’s fair to say that his legacy means that he is still remembered fondly through Norfolk.
