Forming part of  Business in Motion, a brand-new professional development series, this unique hands-on workshop is designed to combine the power of theatre skills and creativity to help professionals to deliver their message with impact when speaking in public.

Led by Joseph Arkley from the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC), during this one-day workshop, you’ll learn how to apply practical theatre techniques such as connecting with voice, understanding and utilising body language, breathing and vocal range to confidently deliver engaging presentations that forge deeper connections with your audience.

Tilly Flory is an exceptionally talented local artist with a profound dedication towards not only capturing the beauty of wildlife, but also in fundraising for conservation charities. Experimenting with light and shadow utilising black and white tones in her work, Tilly captures her subjects in astonishing detail with a photorealistic style.

The NEBOSH Working with Wellbeing course has been designed following recognised research, providing HR professionals and those in people management positions with practical methods for intervening with poor wellbeing at work.  

The NEBOSH Working with Wellbeing course is assessed in two parts:

• Candidates will first reflect on and provide details of their organisation’s current strengths and weaknesses in relation to each branch of the NEBOSH ‘wellbeing tree’. 
• The second portion of the assessment involves producing an intervention plan. Candidates must choose and describe three interventions to improve wellbeing in their place of work. For each choice a justification must be provided, as well as a plan to assess the effectiveness of each intervention. 

Once you complete the course and assessment, a confirmation of results is available immediately. This certificate can be printed or saved as proof of completion.

Course Content

The NEBOSH Working with Wellbeing course consists of three elements:

Element 1: Foundations of wellbeing
Element 2: The branches of wellbeing; benefits and what this means in practice
Element 3: Interventions in the workplace

Upon completion of the NEBOSH Working with Wellbeing course, candidates will understand:

What wellbeing is and why it matters
How wellbeing can be improved
How to use interventions to improve wellbeing in the workplace

Course Venue: Harford Community Centre, Hall Road, NRNR4 6ET.

This Ofqual regulated, HSE compliant qualification will
ensure all learners have the skills and knowledge to serve their organisation
as an Emergency First Aider, able to provide treatment to their casualties in a
prompt, safe and effective manner.

A range of subjects are covered including:

• Responsibilities
  and reporting
• Assessment
  of the situation
• Dealing
  with an unresponsive casualty
• Basic
  hygiene in First Aid
• Resuscitation
  and AED awareness
• Minor
  injuries
• Bleeding
  control
• Burns
• Choking
• Epilepsy
• Shock

The qualification is valid for three years and a certificate
will be awarded on completion. As the HSE recommends that learners also
undertake Annual Refresher training, this is included in the qualification. For
no extra cost, online Annual Refresher training will be sent to learners on the
first and second anniversary of their training date. A certificate will be
awarded on completion.
