Breakfast session 8.15am and lunchtime session 12.15pm
The financial crisis exposed shortcomings in financial risk management. This session looks at new approaches that build on the experience of the last few years and introduces behavioural finance as an explanation for some of the problems we have faced.
Starting by looking at how we make decisions, we will use a behavioural approach to explain common investment mistakes and how we can be better prepared to avoid them. We will also look at effective ways of using technical analysis to improve risk/return ratios before considering how we can apply this to reduce downside risk.
By the end of the session you will have a better understanding of your own investment decisions and share our healthy cynicism towards much of the fund management industry’s marketing hype!
We will run 2 sessions on each date with either a light breakfast or lunch provided. The breakfast session will be at 8.15am for an 8.30am start and the lunchtime one will be at 12.15pm for a 12.30pm start.
We would be delighted to see you if you’d like to come along. More information about the content of the seminars can be found on our website www.chadwicks.co.uk where you can also book your place.
