Delegates commented on the great atmosphere and the event went above and beyond, exceeding expectations. Andy Gillies, Gillies Associates said ‘it was relaxed, friendly and great to network in a relaxed atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed it.’
The morning started off with the ‘Name that Christmas Tune’ icebreaker which proved great fun and brought out the competitiveness of delegates. Breakfast followed and delegates took full advantage of the networking opportunity.
Our featured Charity Break, well known for their Go Go Gorillas Campaign, gave delegates an opportunity to bring a gift for young people setting up their first home. Break were overwhelmed with the generosity of all the businesses who attended. Michael Rooney, Fundraising Manager from Break spoke about the Moving On project delegates contributed to and what Break has planned for 2014. Michael Rooney said ‘An enormous thank you to everyone who donated a gift, we will let people know when they have been distributed and how they were received. This changes young lives.’
A Safari Network Move got delegates circulating and networking with other businesses. Four businesses had the opportunity to showcase their business in our 60 second spotlight. Finally delegates networked over a memory icebreaker. As well as testing your memory, each delegate shared a fact about their business they are proud of.
