About Solinatra
Solinatra is the truly sustainable alternative to single use plastic. Made from the plant waste of harvested crops, our patented processes turn plants into a biomaterial that has all the benefits and none of the drawbacks of traditional plastics. Fully biodegradable and compostable in all situations, Solinatra doesn’t leave behind any microplastics or harmful pollutants.
Nespresso compatible coffee capsules made of Solinatra have launched in the UK, with the award-winning Gordon St Coffee. Solinatra coffee pods are 100% natural and plant based, and compost in the same time frame as a banana skin. Solinatra coffee pods can be disposed of in a home compost bin or food waste collection, making it easy for all customers to be more environmentally friendly.
Made with plant waste from harvested crops, the production of Solinatra is incredibly resource efficient and gives new purpose to existing materials. Solinatra can be used in existing machinery and tooling, enabling a simple transition to environmentally friendly alternatives for brands and manufacturers. Solinatra can be used to make or to package a huge range of single use items, such as food packaging, cup lids, disposable cutlery and on-the-go packaging as well as longer use items such as coat hangers.
Georgie Oatley is the Communications Officer for Solinatra. An experienced communications professional with a background in video production and creative direction, Georgie leads the marketing division of Solinatra and the other brands and companies within the Rosiro Group.
