Both fabrication and glazing seem to have been forgotten trades as young people are encouraged to undertake academic studies as opposed to learning in demand vocations and practical trades. With extensive new homes and building works throughout the East of England, skilled tradesman are in demand and we have really struggled to find vocational programmes locally which give young people access to learning the necessary practical skills which can give them the foundations to a successful career within these industries.
