GENIX, the business support specialist has refreshed the format of its very successful networking events, Coffee Means Business, for 2018. Leanne Castle of GENIX said, “During 2017, we held ten networking events, at various locations across north Norfolk. The informal and friendly sessions are ideal for those who run small and micro businesses. It’s a great way to make new contacts and gain information over coffee and biscuits. “For 2018, we’ve invited successful businesses from the area to speak at our events to share their business stories and top tips for business success. “On Tuesday 16th January Coffee Means Business is being held at Northrepps Cottage Country Hotel, near Cromer. The speakers will be Sarah and Patrick Saunders of Norfolk Sloe Gin which the couple established in 2011. They will tell how they’ve grown their business and give their thoughts on how to grow a business.” “At the Prince of Wales Stand, Fakenham on Tuesday 20th February, Richard Harrison of local firm, See Thru Cleaning will give his thoughts on why his business has been successful. The business has been Fakenham based since 1962 and employees over 25 people.” North Norfolk District Council appointed GENIX in 2016 to organise and host Coffee Means Business in north Norfolk after recognising the need for a regular networking opportunity for businesses which didn’t involve expensive membership fees. Cllr Nigel Dixon, Cabinet Member for Business and Economic Development said: “If you own or run a small business, I would thoroughly recommend attending a Coffee Means Business event. They are a great way to meet new people, share business ideas and gain valuable business support in a relaxed environment.” Coffee Means Business is held from 9.30am until 11.30am, it costs £5pp payable on arrival and booking isn’t essential.
