Ashton KCJ is pleased to welcome a new solicitor to its Corporate and Commercial team. Matthew Downing has joined the firm having spent nearly three years at a top 100 law firm. Matthew will be based in Norwich.
He brings with him a wealth of experience, including advising on share and asset acquisitions and disposals, corporate governance and shareholder agreements. Matthew also advises on a range of commercial agreements, including the supply of goods and services, distribution, agency and franchise agreements.
Geoff Hazlewood, Head of Corporate and Commercial at Ashton KCJ, said: “Matthew’s appointment demonstrates our continued commitment to growing our commercial presence in Norwich. I’m delighted to welcome Matthew to the team.”
Edward O’Rourke, CEO, commented: “We are continuing to invest in our Business Services teams across the region. Matthew’s appointment comes hot on the heels of the appointment of Annette Collen and Helen Stewart to our Commercial Property team and follows the appointment of Mark Whittaker to the Corporate and Commercial team in Cambridge earlier this year. I wish Matthew every success in his career at Ashton KCJ.”
