Since 2014, the New Anglia Growth Hub has been providing free and impartial guidance and support to businesses in Norfolk and Suffolk. There are 10,500 individual accounts detailed on the organisations CRM.

From the start of the Covid-19 crisis, the work of the Growth Hub team has, like many organisations, had to change. The team, working remotely, became the front line in facing a constant flow of difficult discussions. However, within two months, the nature of those conversations has changed significantly. The harrowing situations have not gone away but words such as growth, recovery and diversification are now being heard more frequently again.

Nevertheless, there will be challenges and some of the key areas of concern being raised at present include:

The New Anglia Growth Hub will not have all the answers, but it may possibly highlight ideas and aspects of support, which may be of help.

The Panellists:

The Manager, Richard Glinn, will give an overview of the Growth Hub’s history, structure and work, including the grant opportunities which are currently available.

Neil Mason is a Business Growth Adviser and one of the team covering Norfolk. Neil will describe a day in the life of a Growth Hub Adviser, mention some of the types of businesses he is currently working with and provide greater detail on the grant application process.
