Member Event: The Big Debate: We should fear advances in Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a controversial subject with the late, great Professor Stephen Hawking warning in 2014 that the development of full AI could spell the end of the human race.

But should we fear advances in AI? Advocates point out that at its heart, current AI is driving business efficiency and freeing up resources to focus on customer satisfaction and improving customer experience.

Whatever your business, AI is something that is here now and will have an impact on all of us over the coming years.

IoD Norfolk, in collaboration with the University of East Anglia and Norwich Barclays Eagle Labs bring you a panel of experts, covering the fields of AI Developers, Legal, Academia and Cyber Security to debate what AI will mean for us all.

Although there will be opportunities to ask additional questions at the end, we are asking for questions to be submitted in advance, to facilitate a robust and lively debate.

There will be refreshments and canape’s served at the event, during the networking sessions.
