What to wear
• As a general rule we say to dress for the weather. Quick drying clothes are the best (and avoid cottons/jeans as they can be uncomfortable when wet) If its chilly we have a small selection of wetsuits for hire. If you have your own wetsuit/rash vests – then bring them. • For your feet we suggest old footwear (ideally flip flops) to wear on the riverside.

This Ofqual regulated, HSE compliant qualification will ensure all learners have the skills and knowledge to serve their organisation as an Emergency First Aider, able to provide treatment to their casualties in a prompt, safe and effective manner.
A range of subjects are covered including:

As the HSE recommends that learners also undertake Annual Refresher training, this is included in the qualification. Land and coastal management in Britain is becoming ever more challenging and complex. Climate change is altering traditional weather patterns, creating unpredictable growing seasons, and increasing the likelihood of floods and droughts. BPS is being phased out and farmers must navigate a transition to make their businesses sustainable, utilising various public and private funding streams. With an increase in environmental scheme payment rates, farmers and land owners must weigh up food vs the environment. How does one make sense of this everchanging sector, ensure business resilience, and work together to ensure Norfolk’s land and coastal management thrives?
Held on the Royal Norfolk Showground on Wednesday 29th October, this event is a must-attend for land owners, farmers, nature enthusiasts, policy makers, the construction sector, planning departments, green finance organisations, and anyone interested in how we can improve land use in Norfolk, and across England.

This session will be supported with toolkit sessions following it. In the additional session we will be looking at the Atomize tool in more detail and using our Question Storming technique to help create new lines of thought and opportunities for problem solving.
Delivered by James Williamson of Hethel Innovation’s Business Development Team. James has a background in business studies and coordinates the NAAME network. A network which has been involved in the rapid diversification of manufacturing towards PPE in East Anglia. James also runs his own business in his spare time and our ability to innovate and diversify is an important focus for him both at Hethel and elsewhere.
After the success on or first free kids Activity day, we are back again but bigger! We have lots going on this time so there will be enough to keep the kids entertained while you parents can sit back and relax! We have – Bird Box building and Painting (Limited Supply), A brilliant Face painter by @missafacepainting, A puppet show at 2pm, our famous unicorn colouring and a Pump Badge design competition (Winner will win 4 cans of beer, a pizza and will be used for an upcoming special beer).
