A Mouse’s Christmas at Blickling Hall
Wander through beautifully decorated rooms filled with traditional Christmas sparkle, and enjoy a cosy, family-friendly atmosphere.
This year, the decorations have a delightful twist: mice! These charming little characters are busy decking the halls, hanging garlands and preparing for the big day. Can you spot them as you explore?
Whether you’re coming with kids, grandparents, or friends, there’s something for everyone – from hands-on activities to a peaceful reading nook where you can snuggle up with a festive story.
So wrap up warm, bring your sense of wonder, and join us for some twinkling festive cheer and a touch of mouse-sized mischief!
Enjoy a spot of Christmas shopping in the shop or pop into the second-hand bookshop in the Farmyard to browse a selection of specialist books. Tuck into delicious seasonal food and warming drinks in the Stables and Muddy Boots cafés.
Entry is free to National Trust members, and standard admission applies to non-members, who can pay on arrival. Children under five go free.
The house is open 11am – 3pm. Last entry to the house is 2.30pm. The garden, shops and cafés open at 10am and close at 4pm. The second-hand bookshop is open and accepting donations between 11am – 3pm. The RAF Oulton Museum will be open on some days.
Quiet hours will take place every Tuesday and Saturday between 2pm – 3pm for those who would like a calmer atmosphere.
Please note that only assistance dogs are allowed inside the House, the garden and the East Wing shop and Stables Café.

Tiger Trek 2019
About the event
The team at Tiger Eye proudly invite the businesses of East Anglia to ‘take a walk on the wild side’ and join them for Tiger Trek – raising funds for The Benjamin Foundation through ‘netwalking’ across the Norfolk Coast, from Hunstanton to Cromer.
With corporate teams of up to four participants welcome from each company, we welcome businesses to ‘walk the walk and talk the talk’ with us, for either one, two or three days of their 3-day trek. We hope that the event will inspire local businesses to stretch their legs and restart their fitness regimes, as part of a unique opportunity to network, discuss and engage with local businesses every step of the way.
Whether you are up to the challenge of three full days of walking, or whether you just fancy coming along for one day, we invite you to join us in walking, networking and raising vital funds for The Benjamin Foundation – Norfolk and Suffolk’s charity against youth homelessness, bullying and abuse.
Experience seaside towns and villages, tidal marshes teeming with wildlife, beaches, woodlands and huge skies, all whilst networking with local businesses as you walk. We are keen to welcome as many teams as we can to the event, so please feel free to discuss the event prior to booking with us.

Murder Mystery Night
The Benjamin Foundation’s murder mystery evening is going to be to DIE for!
You will spend an exciting night listening and speaking to prime suspects, and working together to solve the mystery of the century. This will be great fun for individuals and groups, and the ticket sales will go towards supporting the charity!
Your ticket includes a two-course meal and welcome drink, and there will also be a casino during the night!
FAA Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work
Course Venue: Harford Community Centre, Hall Road, NRNR4 6ET.
This Ofqual regulated, HSE compliant qualification will
ensure all learners have the skills and knowledge to serve their organisation
as an Emergency First Aider, able to provide treatment to their casualties in a
prompt, safe and effective manner.
A range of subjects are covered including:
- Responsibilities
and reporting - Assessment
of the situation - Dealing
with an unresponsive casualty - Basic
hygiene in First Aid - Resuscitation
and AED awareness - Minor
injuries - Bleeding
control - Burns
- Choking
- Epilepsy
- Shock
The qualification is valid for three years and a certificate
will be awarded on completion. As the HSE recommends that learners also
undertake Annual Refresher training, this is included in the qualification. For
no extra cost, online Annual Refresher training will be sent to learners on the
first and second anniversary of their training date. A certificate will be
awarded on completion.
First Aid at Work
Ofqual approved 3-day First Aid at Work course. All successful students will be issued an FAW certificate lasting for 3 years. This FAW course covers all aspects of basic life support including CPR, bleeding, unconsciousness, choking, head injuries, sprains and strains and a vast range of First Aid conditions that you may experience in the workplace.

An Evening with Liam Manning and Chris Hogg

You’ve worked for a good retirement…..

Anyone approaching retirement will be forgiven for feeling a little uncertain – the last few years have seen a breathtaking number of changes.
The session will be of interest to people nearing retirement or recently retired.
We will be looking at:
- How much capital is needed
- Generating secure income in a low inflation/low return environment
- Managing portfolios in volatile markets
- The effects of changes to pension legislation on tax planning
- EIS/SEIS & VCTs and their place in the retirement income mix
We will be looking at the nature of the new risks (and the old ones!) and discussing how these can be managed tax-efficiently in a manner that delivers the returns we need to support us during our retirement.
The Masterclass will last around two hours with questions and discussion.
