Aim; The qualification provides skills in the auditing and inspection of food manufacturing processes, in order to effectively verify HACCP and general food safety and management systems. Especially valuable for BRC, SALSA, etc certificated manufacturers and multi-site catering operations where consistency is valuable.

Friday 1st November 2019 6.45pm The Nest

In partnership with Hooma Comedy, we’re delighted to be hosting our first-ever comedy night at The Nest.

Headlining the show is comedy ventriloquist Trish Dunn, and she’ll be ably supported by local acts MC Kahn Johnson and Martin Westgate (with more acts to be revealed).

One of our most colourful lyricists, is how Steve Lamaq described charismatic frontman Jake Shillingford, famous for his sharp tongue and even sharper suits.

Now, MLS have become a hugely popular, tight live act on the wave of the 90s revival. Their high-energy set includes singalong favourites 12 Reasons Why I Love Her, Strumpet, Sparkle and The King of Kissingdom.  Taking a break from writing film and TV scores, Jake and the band have recently crowd-funded their fourth studio album, the first in nearly two decades, which is due for release on 2nd August 2019.

PREVIEW: WELLBEING THROUGH WORKING LIFE

For many of us, our satisfaction with life declines from our late teens until our mid-40s and then starts increasing again as we approach our late 60s – a pattern that suggests our lowest wellbeing happens during our working lives. Is this pattern inevitable? A team of researchers at the University of East Anglia together with researchers at the Universities of Essex, Reading and Sheffield have spent the past three years investigating the actions that can protect and enhance wellbeing looking at wellbeing in working age adults. The Starlight Walk Norwich is back in 2015 for its 10th year!

Join us on Friday 7th August at the UEA Sportspark at 10.30pm, as we take a 13 mile night time walk around our fine city. Join with friends, family or colleagues, spend time together and take in the peace and quiet of the streets of Norwich – ending in a firework finale.

This year all the money raised will be split between Macmillan Cancer Supportand East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) nook appeal which will help with the charity’s visionfor a new children’s hospice in the heart of Norfolk.
