Book NowEmployers have the chance to showcase their career opportunities to local young people at the inaugural North Norfolk Skills & Careers Festival at Paston College on Tuesday 10th July 2018, 9:30am-3.30pm.
The Festival, organised by Paston College with North Norfolk District Council, builds on the success of the North East Norfolk ‘Futures’ events which have been held at the college in recent years.
School and college students attending the Festival will be able to find out about the huge range of career and study opportunities available and the different pathways they can take – from Apprenticeships, to Further Education and Higher Education options.
A Science and Technology Zone will highlight the many outstanding career opportunities available with local business keen to attract recruits with skills in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).
The Science and Technology Zone will also provide the focal point for a schools’ STEM competition which is being run for pupils in Year 8.
The Festival will have a strong focus on locally available Higher Education options. Representatives from the the Network for East Anglian Collaborative Outreach (NEACO), which aims to help young people with little or no experience of university to explore the world of Higher Education, will be running activities and offering advice and guidance.
Employers can book their stand at the North Norfolk Skills & Careers Festival at https://northnorfolkskills.co.uk/.
