Goody and Storey and Norwich Puppet Theatre present a brand new retelling of this well known Brothers Grimm favourite story, serving up a feast of delicious music, dynamic scenery and knock-your-socks-off puppetry. This colourful retelling of The Brothers Grimm tale has all ingredients of a classic story; a woodcutter, an enchanted wood, a step-mother, a witch and an against-all-odds happy ending. With bold and playful puppets, beautiful, transformative set and wonderful music from Stephen Crowe (“the future of new opera” – The Independent). This story delights in the brilliance of children. Through resilience and imagination they triumph over the greed of adults, finding their natural place in a loving home.
