This event will bring students, their key influencers and education providers together with the energy industry to demonstrate what’s to come within the industry and to showcase the innovation behind this buoyant sector. During the first half of the day, students studying GCSE, AS/A-Level, City & Guilds and BTEC subjects will have the opportunity to interact with companies at their hands-on exhibition stands, participate in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) based activities, and relate their subjects to career options and disciplines through interesting interaction and discussions. The second half of the event will offer parents and teachers the opportunity to hear from a variety of high-level speakers who will be aiming to paint a clear picture as to what’s to come for the energy industry within the region and what this means for the younger generation. A talented and enthusiastic workforce is one of the industry’s most important assets.
