Doctor-led Emergency Paediatric First Aid, 1 day

This qualification is delivered by an experienced
NHS doctor with a background in paediatric emergency medicine and
education. It is delivered in association with NUCO Training, is
FAA-certified, HSE-compliant, and Ofqual-regulated. It is valid
for three years.

Participants learn how to assess and manage unconscious casualties,
cardiac arrest, anaphylaxis, seizures, and bleeding, as well as how to
bandage various injuries, inc. burns. The training equips first aiders
with the confidence and competence to manage serious medical situations
involving children at work and beyond. Perfect for au pairs, nannies,
childminders, nursery and preschool workers, sport and leisure staff, crèches.

Training is highly practical and scenario-based,
using realistic situations to help first aiders translate knowledge into calm,
effective action in the real world.
