I founded a media production company when working as an actor in my early twenties and fell in love with the mechanics of running an organisation. I went on to found seven limited companies over the next decade in logistics, hospitality, import and export, manufacturing, and consumer brands. I had a success or two and some spectacular failures. No one was around to give impartial advice to me through those years. I aim to be that person for founders in the process of scaling up fast. I have raised millions in finance, liquidated, exited, hired, fired, run multi million pound organisations and taken the bins out and washed up (a lot). I wear the scars with pride and I have a deep respect for the tenacity of founders. I work now as a business coach, mentor, NED and advisor across the public and private sector.
I am Norfolk based, delivering Innovate UK’s Business Growth programme to a diverse range of companies across the East of England from pre revenue start-ups to multi-million-pound turnover SME’s. I support my clients with developing robust strategies, managing intellectual property, grant strategy and fundraising.
