Thespis Theatrical Costumiers Ltd – Specialist Theatrical Costume Hire
Based in South Norfolk, Thespis Theatrical Costumiers Ltd is an established specialist supplier of complete theatrical costume packages to schools, colleges, amateur dramatic societies and professional theatre productions throughout the UK, Ireland and internationally.
With over 18 years of experience, we specialise in costuming entire productions, from principal characters to large ensembles, providing beautifully coordinated collections for musicals, plays and theatrical performances.
Our extensive wardrobe covers a wide range of historical periods and theatrical styles, with costumes professionally maintained, individually allocated, barcoded and supplied with appropriate footwear and accessories.
Unlike conventional costume hire businesses, our whole-show approach takes much of the work and stress out of preparing a production. Costumes arrive ready to wear, individually labelled in named garment bags, with detailed allocation documentation.
Operating from our dedicated premises in Norfolk, we offer a personal, knowledgeable service, with delivery and collection throughout the UK and Ireland using our own vehicles. We also have extensive experience arranging international costume movements and the associated customs documentation.
From the first fitting to the final curtain, Thespis helps bring productions to life.
