Henry and Dorothy Hobart created Blickling Hall in the 1620s, building on the important history of this corner of Norfolk – King Harold previously owned the estate, and Anne Boleyn was born here. Uncover layers of history and get to know the generations of Hobart and Kerr families that have lovingly evolved and cared for this exceptional rural estate.
RAF Oulton Museum
Royal Air Force Oulton on the Blickling Estate undertook vital work during the second world war. Explore the museum and see the collection of objects and documents donated by families whose relatives served here.
Norwich Printing Museum
Learn about the traditional skills of the compositor, printer and bookbinder at this unique working collection of printing machinery and artefacts from the early days of Jarrold & Sons Ltd. The museum is now closed for 2024 and will reopen Spring 2025.

The National Trust Shop at Blickling is stocked with locally produced gifts, homeware, books, gardening accessories and seasonal peat-free potted plants. Also onsite, the Stamp Shop sells a wide range of global stamps and the knowledgeable volunteers can assist avid philatelists and new collectors alike.

Our friendly team are all trained in preparing, cooking, carving, and serving, leaving you with great tasting food without the hassle and to ensure your event is a complete success.
In our rustic packages we use palm leaf plates, wooden cutlery and paper serviettes which are all bio degradable and sustainably sourced for an eco-friendly approach to mouth-watering food.

Kat is especially passionate about our wedding catering. After all, your wedding day is one of, if not THE most important day of your life and should be remembered for all the right reasons. Our wedding bookings benefit from additional services which are not included in a standard party booking. These include cake cutting and personalised services from the owners where we ask for details of your colour scheme so we can decorate our service area to tie in with your theme. We also like to meet with you in person to go through the details of the day and make sure we have everything planned perfectly for you.
No event is too small or too big so with Hoggies as your caterer, you can leave all the hard work to us. Everything can be cooked from within our own gazebo so no fuss guaranteed.
