Our Southern UK business is based in Great Yarmouth, whilst supporting clients in various business sectors across England. ASCO is one of the town’s significant private sector employers with around 90 skilled roles working across our operational bases around the port of Great Yarmouth with additional resources deployed geographically to support both ongoing and project requirements of clients.
ASCO also occupies a state-of-the-art Waste Transfer and Treatment centre in Great Yarmouth which plays an important role in our waste management provision, handling large volumes of waste from multiple clients across a variety of sectors. The site handles over 200 tonnes of hazardous waste (oils, chemicals, paints, greases) each week and can process over 200 different waste types from hazardous and non-hazardous waste, oil-based mud slops to general waste. The waste is either treated on site or packed into bulk and transferred to one of our 200+ approved partners for onward disposal or recycling or reuse.
