Community Assessment Therapy Services (CATS) is a Norfolk-based, CQC-registered specialist assessment, therapy and training provider. Based at Earsham Hall near Bungay, we support families across East Anglia.

Our experienced multidisciplinary team brings together paediatricians, psychologists, neurodevelopmental specialists and therapists. We take a personalised, neurodiversity-affirming approach, working with individuals, families, schools and other professionals to understand strengths, identify needs and provide practical support.

Our services include:

• Neurodevelopmental assessments: Autism and ADHD assessments for children and young people, alongside assessments for learning disability, developmental coordination disorder (dyspraxia) and fetal alcohol spectrum disorder. We also offer adult autism assessment and ADHD screening, autism second opinions, cognitive and executive functioning assessments, school observations and sensory screening.
• ADHD medication: Consultant appointments to consider medication for children and young people, with ongoing follow-up.
• Occupational therapy: Assessment and personalised intervention, including Ayres Sensory Integration®, sensory motor sessions, daily living skills, interoception programmes, sensory yoga and mindfulness workshops, and an occupational therapy advice line. Schools can access flexible assessment, intervention, consultation and staff training.
• Speech and language assessments, specialist paediatric physiotherapy and educational psychology: Support to understand communication, movement, development and learning needs, including educational psychology assessments and reports for Education, Health and Care Plans and tribunal appeals.
• Mental health and emotional wellbeing: Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mental health assessment and support, and individual coaching.
• Post-assessment support: Help understanding assessment findings, practical strategies for home and school, specialist teacher support, personalised visuals and social stories, guidance on the EHCP process, Lego Therapy and Talkabout.
• Fostering and post-adoption services: Comprehensive assessments considering trauma, development and learning, alongside therapeutic support including Theraplay and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy.
• Visual impairment services: Habilitation to develop mobility, daily living skills and independence, alongside specialist neurodevelopmental diagnostic assessments for children with visual impairments.
• Training: Tailored sessions for schools, early years settings and other organisations covering autism, ADHD, dyspraxia, FASD, sensory processing, communication, neurodiversity-affirming practice and early identification. We also deliver live online occupational therapy training and The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism (Tier 2).

I set up the business because I believe that, despite the growth of digital marketing, traditional local marketing still has a huge role to play. A well-designed leaflet delivered to the right homes can put a business directly in front of potential customers and create a lasting impression.
