Simon has now been with EEEGR since June 2012 and has had a baptism of fire in the energy sector trying to cram knowledge of oil and gas, renewables and nuclear as we as the main drivers of the supply chain behind these. In addition to this Simon has worked to try and raise the profile of the energy industry and our region with the government, organising House of Commons receptions and ministerial visits.
Simon previously worked in the charity sector – primarily health related at East Anglian Air ambulance and more recently at Wells Community Hospital. Simon also has a strong background in print and digital media development, working for the likes of Archant, Thomsons, United News and Media and Newsquest.
Simon is keen to see the region live up to its full potential and provide the jobs and future prospects for the generations to come.
