Mark Juniper

Mark Juniper

Business Development Manager at Ring Associates  Mark began his career within Financial services back in August 1988, having left school to join National Westminster Bank (as it was known then) as an office junior. He spent the next seven years working his way up the ladder, carrying out various back office / customer facing roles before securing his first managerial position as an Assistant Branch Manager.

His career within NatWest/RBS spanned 29 years, with his last role being a Team Quality and Development Manager. Responsibilities included managing a team of twelve desk-based mortgage advisers, ensuring they remained compliant, managing their day to day training and development, as well as managing their performance to achieve their objectives. Thankfully the opportunity presented itself to take voluntary redundancy and ‘escape the corporate world’.

As Business Development Manager at Ring Associates, Mark’s responsibilities include working closely with the board of directors to improve market position, achieve sustained financial growth through the acquisition of new business, networking, building strong relationships with existing and prospective new clients, as well as focusing on achieving first class customer satisfaction.

In order to further aid his knowledge, Mark is keen to embark on his study of The Chartered Insurance Institute exams, which will assist him in his understanding of the industry.

Mark is married to Julie and has two growing daughters aged nine and twelve. When he is not acting as a referee to all of the arguments, he is a keen racquet sportsman, enjoying playing tennis, squash and badminton. Cycling also features amongst his pastimes as well as meeting up with his pal’s to put the world to rights whilst undertaking a spot of rambling within the countryside.
