Help expand our Home Grown programme

Home Grown supports people to learn to grow and enjoy fresh food themselves.

Corrinne Askaroff, Strategic Operations Officer at Housing 21 said ‘Home Grown brought residents together, reducing isolation, increasing social activities, and generally resulting in residents using our gardens more and increasing social interaction.’

Grow packs cost just £150 and provide enough tools, gloves, seeds, pots, trays, plant labels and compost for 10 residents.
We provide regular emails giving guidance with short videos to follow throughout the growing season. Participants can join a private Facebook group to share successes and challenges. We promote sustainable gardening techniques including organic growing, natural pest control, seed saving, upcycled craft items.
