Chambers Vacancy – Project Coordinator

We are looking for an organised, proactive Project Coordinator to play a leading role in initiatives that make a tangible difference across our region, including the Norfolk & Suffolk Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) and our Good Work Campaign.

This brand-new role reports to our Chief Operating Officer, but works across the Chambers team as the operational driving force keeping some of our most important priority projects running smoothly, on time, and within scope.

What you’ll be doing

Your core focus will be keeping defined, contracted project workstreams organised from start to finish. You will:

Keep projects on track: Coordinate tasks, timelines, and meeting actions to ensure milestones are met smoothly from kick-off through to review.

Engage local businesses: Connect directly with regional employers and sector groups to build strong relationships and gather valuable feedback.

Organise engaging events: Plan and deliver practical, high-value employer workshops and forums.

Tell the story: Collaborate with our marketing team to keep project web pages, case studies, and updates fresh, relevant, and engaging.

Handle reporting and data: Ensure project records are accurate and draft clear, concise progress reports for stakeholders, project partners, and government departments.

Who you are

This role is ideal for a person with some project coordination experience who wants meaningful ownership and the agility of a fast moving, evolving policy landscape. You will thrive here if you:

Have practical coordination experience: You have spent a couple of years managing operational project tasks, juggling competing priorities, or keeping complex initiatives organised.

Are great with people: You communicate clearly, listen well, and feel comfortable talking to business leaders, public sector partners, and colleagues alike.

Have a sharp eye for detail: You care about accurate data, tidy notes, and well-written reports.

Embrace modern ways of working: You are fluent with standard business tools (Microsoft 365, task/project boards) and open to using everyday generative AI tools responsibly to streamline your workflow.

Bring positive energy: You enjoy collaborating in a supportive team environment, solving practical problems, and adapting when priorities shift.
