Water Literacy Training

Following the successful pilot programme, a new series of Water Literacy training courses are now available to book.

This interactive online course helps participants understand the value of water, the challenges facing our water resources, and the practical actions we can all take to use water more sustainably. By completing the training, you’ll become an accredited Water Literacy Champion, equipped with the knowledge and confidence to promote positive change in your workplace, community and beyond.

During the course, you’ll:

• Understand the challenges affecting water resources and why water is a scarce and valuable resource.
• Learn practical ways to reduce water use and encourage sustainable behaviours.
• Explore opportunities to influence others and drive positive action.
• Gain accreditation as a Water Literacy Champion.
• Whether you’re looking to improve your own understanding or inspire others to value and protect water, this course provides the knowledge and tools to help create lasting change.

The course is a full day of learning (7 hours in total) split over two days and will take place on Tuesday 25th August @ 13.00-16.30 and Thursday 27th August @ 13.00-16.30. You will need to attend both sessions to receive your accreditation.
