You will learn: The seminar will explain why it is vital in the highly competitive and increasingly media savvy world we live in today it is vital for every organisation to have a well thought out and comprehensive public relations strategy.Given time constraints it will be impossible to cover every aspect of public relations activity. Therefore it will focus on the media, giving delegates an insight into how it operates and the confidence to engage with journalists for the benefit of their own organisations. The event will explain how the media works, what is it looking for, why might it be interested in me and my organisation, how should I get in touch, how should I present my story and what are the do’s and do not’s and how this all helps if things go wrong. Then look at the relentless growth of online & social media, why you must now integrate this into your PR strategy and how to engage with key target audiences online, specifically looking at Twitter and Facebook. About John: A vastly experienced communicator who has over 25 experience of working with major brands and providing senior counsel to a wide range of organisations in the private and public sector.
