After the success of last year’s event, John Lewis Norwich will be hosting another exclusive, Christmas shopping evening, free to attend for Chamber of Commerce members and their guests.
The evening will commence with a drinks reception in the ‘Place to Eat’ restaurant between 5.30-7pm.
The store will then remain open until 8pm, where the ‘gift gurus’ will be on hand to assist you with your Christmas gift buying.
There will also be special activities and promotions throughout the evening to help you get into a festive mood.

Sprowston High School will be our first Your Future careers event in 2016. We have been listening to their Young Chamber team as well as the teachers to hear what their school would like the event to be.
We are aiming the event at Years 10-13. The school are also keen to ensure we can have some activities which enthuse some of their target improvement demographics such as middle ability boys.
We are delivering the following activities:
Speed networking: bringing the Chamber’s expertise at business networking directly into schools. Small groups of students will have 3 mins with each business person, and rotate around the room until they have met each business! We will be encouraging students to break the ice by guessing the person’s job, and then give them an opportunity to ask more detailed questions.
Exhibition: in their sports hall we can offer interactive ‘have a go’ activities.
Workshops: we are currently developing sessions that will link in with their timetabled subjects such as science, maths and English. These will also show how these core skills can lead to a variety of different career paths.

Iran’s economy is currently reliant on the oil and gas sector as it hasthe second largest gas reserves in the world and fourth largest oil reserve, howeverthe country is looking to diversify its economy. Iran also possesses significant agricultural, industrial and service sectors.
The Iranian Government is keen to attract foreign investment, with foreign direct investment needed across all major economic sectors.Over a trillion $ of investment in infrastructure is likely to be needed over the next 10 years. Key opportunities will also include the energy sector, automotive and airline manufacturing sectors. There may be an increased demand for consumer goods such as electronics and clothing.
