In the face of the latest ‘cost of energy and living’ crisis, arguably, now is the time to focus on resilience.
This webinar will offer delegates suggestions for energy options to build business resilience and align their activities with environmental sustainability.
Dr Nigel Hargreaves will be discussing resilience through an energy lens, to develop more sustainable businesses, integrated and aligned to the rapid changes that we are witnessing around us. Energy is a priority not least because of recent rapid price increases, but also because it is cross-cutting of many business activities. Carbon accounting is also becoming the norm, pointing to the heart of the ecological and economic challenges facing us.
We will see how environmental sustainability and business resilience align, providing you with takeaways that you can implement into your business straight away.

Nigel is a systems architect, academic and sustainability consultant. He is a chartered engineer and has been working with energy systems for 25 years.

Ever heard of “preference” in trade? It’s like rolling out the red carpet for certain products based on where they’re from. If your products align with the origin rules in a Trade Agreement, it can unlock the door to reduced tariffs, more lenient quotas, and favourable trade terms.
In simpler terms, meeting origin requirements in an agreement grants your product “preference.” This means you’re paying lower tariffs than those non-qualifying goods.
High utilisation rates signal businesses are able to comply with preferential rules of origin, qualifying for tariff perks. On the flip side, low utilisation might mean some hurdles are getting in the way of tapping into these benefits.
Join our webinar, as we dive into the details, guiding you on how to leverage these benefits to your advantage.
