Norfolk is full of talented business men and women and we’re delighted to have some of them giving up their time to provide free mentoring sessions for young professionals (under 35s) across Norfolk. Topics Jonathan can provide advice, guidance, hints and tips on: – Individual and business obligations to health and safety law – Advice and guidance to those businesses wanting to take the leap into accredited management systems such as ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 as part of their growth plans to access markets that they may not have previously been able to break into. – People interested in a career in health, safety and risk management. – My own personal experiences with starting a business and defining what I wanted Serene Safety to be so others can do the same. About Jonathan Jonathan is a results driven, self-motivated and resourceful HSEQ and risk professional of fifteen years with a proven ability, in the UK and Europe to develop and strengthen management systems in order to assure that “things are going right”. This drive is derived from Jonathan’s desire for businesses’ and the people within them being the best they can be through sustainable practices fostered through a positive safety culture. Safeguarding stakeholders, company profitability, evolving efficiencies and standardising and improving systems and processes to achieve ‘best-in-class’ results for organisations and business leaders. Experienced in high-hazard sectors including offshore oil and gas, power generation, logistics, construction, demolition, manufacturing and the waste and recycling industry. Jonathan has enjoyed a career from blue collar roles to senior management appointments across a range of businesses including FTSE 250 organisations. Jonathan established Serene Safety when the opportunity arose to start his own business, something he always set out to do, early in his career. Serene Safety provide health, safety and risk management advice, consultancy and training to a range of businesses and industries across the UK.
