Alastair MacFarlane, Port Manager, East Anglia at Associated British Ports Alastair is Port Manager for ABP’sthree East AnglianPorts; Ipswich, Lowestoft and King’s Lynn. He has held the position for around nine years. Previously holing a number of Senior Management positions within ABP in East Anglia, Scotland and the West Country, for over 20 years. Alastairhas a BSc. Hons. Degree in Transport Management and Planning from Loughborough University and is a chartered member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport. Prior to his career on the Port industry Alastair was a deck officer in the RFA, (Royal Fleet Auxiliary Service), serving on a number of ships in locations from the North Atlantic to the Middle Easy and the Falklands Islands.
