My background is in professional services mainly within the accounting and finance sector. I created a new stream of tax work in the business I worked in which grew from nothing to 6 figures in a year, subsequently I negotiated a 50% stake in that business and continued to develop the business. After 2 years I was able to buyout the legacy partner for 2.4m valuing the entity in the mid 7 figures.
Since then we have developed that single business into a group encompassing profitable businesses in Accounting, R&D, Grants, Patents, IP Protection and Leadership Consulting.
We have built headcount from 0 – 46 in 3 years and we have just experienced our second ‘doubling up’ of turnover taking us to the mid 7 figures.
