Delta Fire Ltd are proud to announce we have also been shortlisted for the Make UK Award for Energy & Sustainability 2023. Sustainability is deeply rooted in our operations and reaching net-zero energy consumption is one of our top priorities for 2023 – 2024 FY. After an independent audit from Groundwork East, it became clear what we needed to do to achieve this. Additional solar would be needed, and an integrated battery storage system. RenEnergy UK are currently installing the additional solar covering our north roof, on top of the already covered south roof. The integrated battery system we are working with New Anglia Growth Hub on the Business Transition to Net Zero Grant, which we hope to have in place before the end of 2023.
