We have brilliant news to share. Judges have shortlisted
Norfolk Events in the Excellence in Innovation category at the
2026 East Anglian
Marketing Awards.
This is a huge moment for us. In just over a year, Norfolk
Events has grown into the county’s go-to platform for finding things to do.
Now, judges have recognised us alongside some of the region’s most innovative
brands and agencies.
What is the Excellence in Innovation award?
Unmatched sponsors this category. It rewards fresh thinking,
bold ideas, and creative risks that push marketing forward. In short, judges
look for innovation in strategy, execution, or technology, that challenges
convention and sets new standards.
That’s exactly what we set out to do when we built Norfolk
Events. We wanted a free, county-wide platform that makes it simple for people
to find events, and just as simple for organisers to promote them.
Why this recognition matters?
Norfolk Events started as a simple idea. Norfolk has an
incredible calendar of events, but no single place brought it all together,
until now. In our first year, we grew the platform to thousands of monthly
users. We connected local families, visitors, and event organisers right across
the county, and we never charged a penny to list an event.
So, this shortlisting confirms something we’ve believed from
day one: a genuinely useful, free-to-use platform can compete with much bigger,
better-funded competitors. It can even outshine them.
What happens next?
The shortlist is only the first stage. Next, judges will
score every entry against the category criteria. The top three highest-scoring
entries will then progress to become finalists.

- 11th
September 2026 — Winners revealed at the Celebration Event
