International Trade - Christmas and New Year Opening Times

Norfolk Chambers of Commerce opening hours for International Documents is attached.

This year it is more important than ever to get your documents in for processing before 23rd December 2020 as EC Certificates of Origin will be stamped after 31st December 2020.  They will be replaced by UK Certificates of Origin which can only be stamped from 1st January 2021.

Any goods that leave the UK after 1st January 2021 and require a Certificate of Origin will need to be applied for after 1st January 2021 in order for the new UK Certificate of Origin to be issued.

With regard to legalised Egyptian EC Certificates of Origin these you will note that the final day for submission of these is Monday 14th December 2020.   This is to try and ensure they are received back from the Egyptian Consulat before 31st December 2020 to avoid any possibility of resubmissions having to be done on UK Certificates of Origin.

If you have any questions or require any clarification with regard to our opening hours please contact the International Department on 01603 729706 or email

We will of course, be available to answer any queries that you have, between Christmas and New Year, as a result of Brexit.  Keep watching our website for updates or give us a call if you have any questions.
